There are 24 administrative regions and the republic of the Crimea. Ukraine borders on the Russian Federation, Belarus, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. 95% of Ukraine is flat and the rest of it - the Carpathians and the Crimean Mountains. It is washed by the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
Ukraine is a member of the United Nations Organization.
The climate of the Ukraine is middle - continental. It is hot in summer(+71,6 F...+ 80,6 F) and cold in winter(32 ...-14 F). In the Crimea the climate is subtropical.
